V:you know Wabi Sabi?

Rolen:

V:Yes, yes. It’s also Japanese, I think. So it’s just the idea that the imperfections make something perfect. So for example, with carpets that are handmade, there are always imperfections. And the way that you know a carpet was handmade or factory made is if there are imperfections, it was handmade. If it was made in a factory, it’s perfect.

So this one that’s imperfect is worth much, much, much more money than this one that’s perfect. The imperfection adds value because it makes it handmade. It makes it more unique and special. There was effort and energy invested here. so you can maybe like also think that your perfectionism, it has a purpose as well.

For example, when you’re at work and you push people, this is very valuable for them in their learning and their journey of growth in the company as well. They need to learn and they need to also do things correctly. And they need to also experience someone being strict sometimes, you know. It’s very necessary and vital. So your perfectionism is also valuable.

Chat GPT

Rolen:

V:I try. I try to always maintain high energies when I catch myself having negative thoughts, for example, or if I find myself getting stuck on certain things that are bringing my energy down, I try to consciously change what I’m thinking about. I try to consciously shift my perspectives.

Chat GPT

Rolen:

I also recognize that it’s very important to feel negative. Your emotions are really, really valuable because there’s an idea that was created by a psychologist. I think he’s a Swedish psychologist or from Switzerland or I don’t know. But his name was Carl Jung. Okay, so he had this idea that every person has your body that experiences life and you have your subconscious that deals with and processes all your body’s experiences. So your shadow is what he calls the side of you that has to deal with and process what your body experiences. So in the past, I’ve experienced grief counseling from overcoming some things. And in that process, you go through in any trauma you experience in life, you go through stages of grief. So you experience anger and denial and depression and bargaining. You experience different emotions, right? In order and then finally, you reach acceptance and then you overcome this trauma. But when you experience emotions, when you experience depression, for example, you might be really sad for whatever reason. But your subconscious is using this emotional energy to process your traumas, your life. So it’s valuable to experience that. And even if you feel down, allow yourself to feel down. Be like, it’s okay. It’s okay not to be happy every day. allow yourself to feel sad. Allow yourself to be depressed. Be like, nobody’s happy every day. And today my energy is low and that’s okay. I’m allowed to have low energy. allow yourself to feel whatever because it’s so necessary. People try to when they feel angry or when they feel sad, they try and change the emotions or take them away because they’re painful emotions, right? So you don’t want to feel it. But if you don’t feel it, then you pack it away for another day. If you allow it to feel, then you’re at least processing and you’re moving through the experiences. I’m not always positive. I’m usually, I’m trying to make an effort, but when I’m not positive, I allow myself not to be positive. And I also remind myself when something difficult happens, that a person doesn’t grow when everything is good. So you need those difficult times in order to push you to grow emotionally and mentally and spiritually. And when I’m like in a very low place, I can remind myself that at least I’m growing. I might not feel good. It might not feel nice, but at least I’m growing. So that’s okay.

V:

  1. Accept whatever is busy happening right now.
  2. Always try to uplift.
  3. Never try, never break down. Always try to build up instead of breaking down.
  4. And I think self -awareness and self -control are very important and valuable. Yeah. Like, for example, being able to do something new and do it consistently.
  5. And not just give up because you feel like you’re being held back, you know? That consistency and self-control is very, very important, I think.
  6. Patience. Patience is a virtue.
  7. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Chat GPT翻译

Treat people the way you want to be treated,能展开讲讲吗?

V: To be nice to you, you should be nice to people. I think your input is your output. So what you put into your interactions, into the universe, into your life, you know, that’s what you’ll get out. There are so many expressions like this in English as well. And I know this one, you reap what you sow, crosses into Chinese as well. You reap what you sow. Yes. I also believe in random acts of kindness. Do you ever practice random acts of kindness?

Chat GPT

V: A random act of kindness, for example, if you see some old person in the supermarket buying very little food, you can buy some extra food and give it to them. Or something like this, doing something random that you don’t need to do for some person that you don’t know. Just because by doing something like this, something completely random for a stranger, um, you, something amazing happens. You’re answering a prayer for this person, you know, you’re answering their prayers. So maybe they’ve been asking the universe for someone to show them some kindness. And then you are the person that gets to do that. So random acts of kindness is very good. You should, you should try. It could be simple. It can be big. But there’s always some person that you can help in some kind of way. it’s always a nice idea to do something nice for some person. So you have to input what you want output one day. Also think like you’re building your, your karma, you’re building your good karma. So the more good you put into the world, the more good you can do for the world, for your community, for people, the more good will come back to you. I think when a person starts practicing this kind of random acts of kindness, it makes the universe start working with you because you’re doing a lot of output.

Chat GPT

V:

Oh, that’s perfect. You know, small blessings. That’s what you can also call it. The small blessings in life. There was a story on Engoo a few last year or the year before that I read about simple pleasures. You can say simple pleasures. And it said that some people, like people in the UK, can’t even consider five simple pleasures in a week. I was like, what? How is this possible? Every day I wake up and I drink a cup of coffee or tea and I’m like, oh, that’s just amazing. And every morning when I brush my teeth and I use mouthwash and then the first breath of air after I spit the mouthwash out of my mouth, it’s like so cold and so good. How can people not realize these simple pleasures? But I think it’s just because people don’t look for it. If you don’t look for it, if you don’t look for the little joy, you don’t see the little joys. you don’t notice it and recognize it. But when you start looking for it, you notice it everywhere. And then you realize how great life really is. I think happiness is not just the small pleasures. Maybe recognizing, just seeing, just looking for it. Just noticing the beauty about everything. Noticing what feels good to you. And the more you look for it, the more you try to notice these little moments in the day that feels really good, the more and more you will see and find. it is like a snowball. The more you practice finding the joys in life, the more joy in life you have

V

Children don’t always notice it either. Of course, they’re having fun, and they’re laughing, and they’re running, and they’re having a great time. But when you ask them, they might also sit and be like, I don’t know. I see this with my son every morning, because we have to write gratitude. And he sits every morning, and he tries to think of five things that he’s grateful for. So he’s trying to look for those five little pleasures or something, little joys he can speak about. And almost every day, he’s like, my cat. But yeah. I do agree with you, definitely. I don’t know if it’s older people, because I know some people, some younger people also, they just don’t focus on it. They’re unhappy people, because they only focus on unhappy things.

V:

Yeah, absolutely. Do you know the expression, as above, so below, as within, so without.

Chat GPT

Rolen:

V

Okay. So this sentence is, it’s a very historical quote. And it’s been, yeah, I’m not sure where it came from originally. But it’s very, very historical, very, very ancient, ancient quote. It describes life in the universe and everything within. So it’s a quote from hermetic philosophy. I’m going to share with you. So Hermes was somebody that apparently spoke to the gods, and he was a messenger between the gods and the people. And this is a quote from the hermetic philosophy. So you can research that a little bit. But in any case, so as above, so below, the idea here is that there is a reflection of everything, right?

if your mind is very negative and unhealthy, then your body will also be very negative and unhealthy. If your mind becomes very positive and healthy, then your body will also be, like, as above, so below. And as within, if your body and your spirit and your mind is very positive, you will also see that positivity reflected in the world around you. You will also notice the beauties around you more. If you’re inside, you’re very negative and dark, then you’ll also see the darkness and the negativity in the world around you. So as within, so without.

And the third part, as the universe, so soul. This part is reflecting on the fact that you, your person, your personality, your essence, you are a part of everything, right? You’re not a part of the world. You’re not not a part of the universe. You are a part of the universe, right? And your energy that makes you has existed from the beginning of everything. And it will continue to exist forever and ever and ever and ever. Because energy cannot be created or destroyed. It only changes forms. So the universe is without, but the universe is also within. And you are also everything. And everything is also you.

I love hermetic philosophy. I think it’s really amazing. And I found my truth in this within mathematics. Do you know fractal geometry? Fractal geometry. So fractal geometry is the patterns, the geometry that makes everything. So every level that scientists have studied this, it has been found very accurate. But I’ll show you on a tree. Because it’s easiest, I think, to understand on a tree. So the way a tree starts to grow when it initially starts to grow, it will grow from there in the exact same way. And this pattern will keep on repeating itself.

Rolen:

So okay. So if you consider this a tree, right? If a tree grows, the way the first part of the tree, you know, when it just starts growing out of the seed and the first branches that it makes, from those branches, it will make the same pattern. The same number of branches will come out of each stick. From those, the same number of branches will come out of each stick. And the patterns in the universe are repeated over and over and over, from as small as you can study it to as big as you can study it. The patterns in the universe are always repeated. So imagine here, right? Inside your body, inside your body, you have millions and billions of cells and organisms. And they live inside you. You are a whole ecosystem of cells and microorganisms and bacteria and enzymes. They live inside you. You are their universe. They don’t realize your cells, they live, every cell in your body is trying its best just to be alive. It doesn’t think about the fact that it’s making a whole body. It is part of a whole body, right? Okay, so inside you, you have millions and billions of cells and bacteria, and they all come together and they create you. Inside one cell, there are millions and billions of atoms. And the atoms is a spot of energy, a spot buzzing with energy. And the millions and billions of atoms come together to create one cell. And millions and billions of cells come together to create you. And on Earth, millions and billions of plants and animals and people come together to form the Earth. in the universe, millions and billions of stars and galaxies come together to form the universe. So if the patterns are repeated over and over and over from the smallest atom inside my body to the greatest, the universe, then we can consider that the universe is a cell, one cell inside a body. It wants to tell you that you are a part of everything. And everything is a part of you. You have a whole universe inside you. You have a whole universe inside you. And within every cell, there is a whole universe. This can help you. it’s a recent study of mathematics that is, it’s very expanding quickly. The idea is growing faster because on every level that mathematicians study this, it is accurate and it’s true. Even within your body, the way that your veins spread out. I’ll take the tree part away. All the patterns in the universe are repeated over and over and over and over again. And yeah, so this triangle is very popular. Infinity triangles. I think it’s very amazing and I love it. I think it explains everything. It explains everything that you are a part of. It connects you and it connects everyone together because every single human is a piece of you. if you, if you are, if you are everything, right? You are a piece of everything. You are one piece of everything. That means everything is busy having an experience through you. So everything is busy having infinite experiences through every single life, through every single person is busy having an experience. So there is no good, there is no bad. People are not actually disconnected from each other. People are actually all the same. You are also me and I am also you. We’re just having different experiences of life. I think like if it’s an ocean, if there is an ocean, if you know, consciousness, if we think every person has your unique consciousness, but you’re still a part of everything. So everything must have a grand consciousness, So I think a human experience is like a wave in the ocean and consciousness is the ocean and the wave is outside the ocean, but it’s still a part of the ocean. you die, when you die, you just go back into the ocean. Your consciousness just joins the rest of the consciousness again.

V

Oh, I’m very happy that my body hurts today because of the yoga class. Yeah. My body is very painful today. So I’m very thankful for this body pain because I know that if my body is paining, it means I’m getting stronger. Yeah. I’m very thankful to feel that my body is getting stronger and I’m hurting from it. So it’s good. Uh, positive pain. And I am also very thankful or, um, every morning when I wake up, um, I sit and I’ve been meditating. Like I told you, I wake up now at 5 AM. So every morning I’m sitting and I’m spending some time with myself and I’m meditating and I’m very, very happy about it. It’s, it’s very good. I think it’s very good for my mind and for my soul.

V: Rolen, how do you think the essence of life and the essence of marketing? Tell me about it?

V: Well, yeah, that is the base core of what is marketing about. Yeah, I think marketing is, a lot of marketing is about making people think that they need something, even if they don’t necessarily need it. I mean, some products really nobody needs it, but through marketing you want people to see this thing and then want it or think, wow, I need that, even if they don’t necessarily need it.

V: Yeah, yeah, I agree with you 100 % there. I think especially in the long -term sales situation, it’s very important to build that relationship. Okay, and how about the essence of life? That’s a big one.

V:Yeah, I think life is about experiences. It is a great experience. I agree with you. I think many people, many people think about life like they want to reach, there’s an endpoint, or they’re climbing up a mountain somewhere reach a high point. But I don’t think that’s true. I think every step is the purpose, you know. We’re not walking up a mountain to find our purpose. Every day you’re living your purpose. Your destiny is a constant, continuous thing that’s busy happening in your life. It’s not one point. It’s every point.

Next one maybe is the relationship of… The essence of doing something.

V: Um, yeah, I mean, I think it’s also, you know, every time you do something, it is an experiment, you can’t know what is right and what is wrong. Before you do it, you have to just do something. And then I think it’s very important not to do the same thing again, and again, and again, and again, expecting different results. If you’re doing the same thing. Many people get stuck in a cycle in their lives, and they keep on doing the same thing and having the same results. But they expect something different to happen. But something different can’t happen if you’re having the same input. So I think it’s very important also to make little micro changes to your inputs, to your thinking, to your ideas, keep on changing your thinking and your ideas and your input, so you don’t have the same results, so you have different output or different results. We can keep developing instead of just sticking with one thought.

V: I agree with you. I think it is important. It’s, you know, you don’t want to feel like a friendship like you have to work to have your friends. And you know, actually, I have many friends, and some of my friendships, they require work. And I am less close in those friendships.

Because in some of the friendships, my friends feel like, some of my friends feel like, if we don’t see each other regularly, I’m not interested in being their friend. Or if we don’t hang out regularly, then I’m not there for this friendship anymore. And I’ve also lost many friends because of this, because I’m not always there for it.

And then I have other friends who I don’t see for many, many, many months. But then when we see each other, it’s like there was never any time gone. And they never have any expectation from me. So I think maybe, maybe the essence for me of a really, really good and long standing relationship is whether you love and accept your friend unconditionally. Or whether you put conditions on your friendship.

some friends, one of my friends, I didn’t see maybe for five or six years, because she lives in a different country. And in this five or six years, we didn’t speak to each other, we didn’t call each other, we didn’t message each other. But then she came to my country, and she was like, Christine, I’m here, do you want to hang out? And I was like, yes, let’s do it. And the time we spent together was like, we were never not each other’s friends.

there’s no expectation or anything. For me, those friendships are much deeper and more real. Because there’s an unconditional aspect to it. Like family, you know, family, you, you accept them unconditionally, because you don’t have a choice. You’re family, you can’t stop being family. So, so you’ll always be family. On family, it’s usually easy to have that unconditional aspect and that unconditional love. But with friendships, it’s not always there.

V: I don’t know, I believe love is a frequency. It’s a very high emotional frequency as well. You mean like for a boy and a girl? Is this what you mean? Like in a relationship?

I think, I think when it comes to a relationship, people very often don’t want to say love. Because maybe, maybe it has some expectations to it.

But I think love is a very strong emotion and a very high frequency. And I try to practice love all the time. I do this because I believe it’s my destiny to love. So I can also tell you, Rolen, I love you so much. You’re an amazing student. And I think you’re really fascinating and interesting. And I love speaking to you. I think, like in this way, there’s, it does. There’s not a big difference between like something and love something.

But when it comes to a romantic aspect, then people like to put lines and be like, Oh, I like you a lot. But I think it’s not actually, it’s just, it’s, it’s not actually, yeah, necessary.

That’s fine. Family is like that. You can totally do that. I think that’s exactly it, though. You can love someone, but you don’t have to like what they do for you to love them. And I think that’s exactly it. Being able to separate the fact that you don’t have to like every single individual thing about someone, or something doesn’t mean you don’t love it. You can still practice loving everything.

Love is very high frequency. And it’s, I think love is, oh, you know, there’s I don’t know if you’ve ever seen this, let me show you the frequency of emotions.

Okay. So every emotion has different frequencies. Because when you, you know, anything has frequency, your body has frequency. Everything has frequency. So it’s emitting waves. Anything that has energy is emitting some kind of frequency. Some people say everything is sound.

Everything, everything in existence is sound because it’s all waves and frequency. And sound has waves and frequency. So love is up here, it has a very high frequency. Enlightenment is when you realize your connection to everything. Yeah, everything in to everything. When you realize when you realize that you are a part of humanity. But you are an individual cell inside the organ. And you are a part of the earth. And the earth is a part of the galaxy, which is a part of the universe.

So enlightenment is when you realize and understand that you are also everything. You are a small speck having an experience in everything. And you’re expanding the awareness through the experience that you are having.
I don’t know if you have ever looked into Buddhist philosophy. Okay, so Buddha reached enlightenment. Buddha is worshiped for reaching enlightenment because he connected to the consciousness of everything. If you think you are an individual person, and you are conscious and aware, but you are also a part of the earth. So on some level, the earth also has consciousness. And you are also connected to this, but you feel separated. When you reach enlightenment, you feel connected to the consciousness of everything. You recognize how big you are. I had an experience that pushed me to wake up. I had a very traumatic experience in my life that pushed me through an awakening. Yeah, like I was triggered. Many people spend their whole lives trying to understand or trying to reach this space that Buddha experienced, you know, people worship him for having reached this state where he was connected. Many people spend a long time also, you know, I’m not there, I can’t see myself as everything. But I can understand it because of the experience that I had. But some people practice like Kundalini yoga.
Some people practice a lot of meditation. Some people it’s all in the essence to try and reach this understanding. Try and reach this space where you are connected to everything. So I was triggered through trauma. It can also happen through trauma

V: Trauma is what happens to, yeah, every person experiences many traumas in their life. When you lose someone, when someone dies, or when there is an accident, or when something bad happens, or they say the moment you are born, birth is the biggest trauma that any human ever experiences. Because it’s a very drastic change. Going from this nice, soft, squishy environment inside your mom, to the environment outside is a massive change. And these are called traumas. And when a person experiences a trauma, you go through phases of grief. So you go through, there’s five phases of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. So every time you experience a trauma, a loss, someone dies, even if you go through a breakup, there are many small things that happen in your life. And every time something happens, it sparks a trauma response. And subconsciously, you go through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. For you to process that event. Different food for thought.
